Employee Experience

We welcome and value each team member’s thoughts, ideas and perspectives.

We encourage team members to bring their authentic selves to work and provide training to help every employee understand and exhibit inclusive behaviors.

We support representation in our community and engage in acts of service.

Through dollar-for-dollar matching programs and dedicated time off, we encourage team members to engage in philanthropy and volunteer work.

We foster a culture of inclusion where each team member belongs and is safe being their authentic self.

We believe in increasing diversity and inclusion at every level, starting with leaders making space for viewpoints that are different from their own. We encourage safe spaces and give underrepresented people a voice. We believe in seeking input, celebrating self-identity and encouraging employee-led groups (ERGs) that build inclusivity.

Fireside Chats

Each month, we host informal, employee-led meetings to discuss important topics that impact our team members. We aim to create a safe space where our team members can be their authentic selves and share different parts of who they are with colleagues. This is another example of how we are building an inclusive environment with a strong sense of belonging. Calendar invites for Fireside Chats are sent to all team members and are optional. If you plan on joining, we ask you to devote the time, engage and have your camera on. It can be difficult to share and it is important that those sharing feel supported.

Next Fireside Chat

National Hispanic Heritage Month October 6, 2023.
Please join us for a 30 minute Fireside Chat for National Hispanic Heritage Month. Jose Pichardo will be sharing about his family heritage. All are welcome to join and share about their Hispanic Heritage as well. We want to hear from you!

Upcoming Fireside Chats

Hispanic Heritage - October 6, 2023.

Breast Cancer Awareness - October 20, 2023.

Become a Brighton Ambassador & Join the DEI Team!

Become a Brighton Ambassador and support our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) goals. The Brighton Ambassador Program brings together groups of team members to work on initiatives that foster a diverse, equitable and inclusive Brighton community while addressing issues of visibility, access and belonging.

The program is intended to provide a platform for our team members to engage in and advocate for initiatives across a variety of areas, including talent acquisition and onboarding, training, employee resource groups (ERGs), Days of Understanding, mentoring, community engagement and volunteerism.

We encourage all departments to get involved!

An acronym for Perspectives, Resources, Insights and Direction by Employees, PRIDE ERG’s purpose is to advance and promote workplace LGBTQ+ equality, safety and inclusion through engaging and developing employees and playing an active role in community outreach and involvement. Membership is open to all employees, including those who identify with the LGBTQ+ community, and allies who stand up for, support and encourage members of the LGBTQ+ community.
